This week we had a lot of great conclusions about our product, in the design aspect and the technical aspect.
Our design progress this week: We sent our first design for printing in order to see what changes need to be done and also test it with our potential users.
First, we had realized the overall size of the product is too small.
We also noticed that we need to make the space between each button.
We also need to create a head for each button in every cup of a button so it will assimilate inside.
The strip led needs to be shown in an overview perspective.
Out tech progress this week:
this week we focused on developing the turns between the players, we faced some issues that are hardware related (the ESP thinks the record button gets electricity after it sends a Loop to the cloud).
We also connected a LED Matrix to help us keep track of the current loop and if we are recording or not (in the next prototype it will be a LED strip that runs around the device)
we also started our battel with the mp3 player in order to start generating real music instead of tone 1 bits.
Prototype
we printed our first prototype and started playing with the structure and worked out the kinks for the next iteration (enlarge the device by 10-20%, worked out how to place the LED strips, the buttons, and the LED 8X8 panel) and started working on the next design!
