Week 6: Ideation

Updated: Dec 15, 2019

This week we started the Ideation prosses with tree exercises the first was brain-storming.

First, we started to shoot every idea that came to mind:

Then we arrange them into groups:

After that we created a time-line, we focused on a day in a life at work and tried to pick the most effective place to interact:

And at last, we experienced role-playing. Our scenarios was a coffee break, with two employees that aren't very close college and a really annoying coffee machine that kept asking them a personal question in order to give them coffee and cookies. In this prosses, we noticed some key values for our solution, pros, and cons that we can implement into our solution.

After that, we took a closer look at three of our ideas and this is what we came up with:

Planty

The office's digital plant requires care by simply having a conversation near it.

each week a couple of employees will be assigned randomly to take care of Planty.

Cookie-Chat

This "robot" will be located in the brak-room of the office right near the coffee machine. The robot will detect when there are two people or more and will start asking them "ice-breaking" questions on the screen. if the two employees choose to play, they will receive a cookie to go with their morning coffee.

Trivia-Screen

this screen will be placed in a central place inside the office, presenting with personal fun facts that each employee chooses to share. a passing employee will guess which one of his colleagues is the one who shared that statement and will receive a point for an ongoing competition. along the way, the employees will get to know another side of there colleagues and might find out that they have stuff in common.
